Why do we ride?

The Benefits of Riding

Physical: Improves vertical and horizontal balance, muscle tone, and motor coordination. Riding enables independent movement of the pelvis and shoulders and provides the same upper body sensations as walking.

Psychological: Improves self-esteem and self-confidence.

Educational: Improves attention and focus for learning.

Social: Promotes the development of respect, responsibility, perseverance, and love for animals which supports development of interpersonal skills within the family and community.

What is equestrian vaulting?

Vaulting combines dance and gymnastics on a moving horse. Vaulters develop strength, coordination, balance, creativity, and teamwork skills in a fun, safe and controlled environment. Exercises are practiced on the ground and stationary barrel before performing on the horse.
